I'm from Chicago and I travel to Dallas frequently for business. I am hoping to establish some relationships for trading. I don't like shipping beer and I am uneasy with the whole idea of the beer trading honor system. On the other hand, I am very open to meeting someone in Dallas and trading in person. I have access to beers from every brewery in Chicago, including Three Floyds. I'm also willing to drive up to Wisconsin and pick up some New Glarus if the trade is tempting enough. I can also check for beers that aren't distributed in Texas but they are in Chicago, like Founders. If you're interested, open up the discussion here or send me a message. Immediately, I'm looking for some St. Arnold Pumpkinator, Deep Ellum Dreamcrusher, and Ballast Point Dorado. Let's trade!
I have a bottle of Pumpkinator from last year I am willing to trade. Great things in Chicago, I like Revolution, and 3 F's.
Yep, which area are you talking? I work next to DFW. Have plenty of Devine Reserve 13, and Uncle Jacob's and some others. Drank all of my Pumpkinator from last year though.
Vouching for JuniperJesus - yall should set something up! We met up when he was last in town and I went with him to Craft and Growler and the Libertine. Great guy and I'd be trading if I weren't saving for all the crazy events and releases coming up.
You don't want Dreamcrusher, it was bottled well over a year ago with a Blichmann beer gun, I was there when it was bottled, it was not a good process, meant to be drank fresh. I still have a bottle but its just for nostalgia, not to drink. That being stated, I'd like to do some IP trades with you in the future. I am going to CO for a week though so will miss you this time. BM me if you want to set something up, I still have a Pumpkinator or 2 from last year, and will stock up this year when released.
I just had one a month ago and I thought it was pretty interesting, weird and barleywineish. I'm looking forward to drinking this one with a fresh one next year.
I have a bottle of Dreamcrusher and Cherry Chocolate Double Brown Stout, not really planning on opening them, but glad to know they aren't all super crazy infected from your experience.
I usually stay near Uptown or Love Field when traveling to Dallas. I met Air at Craft and Growler and brought home a growler of Deep Ellum's Numb Comfort, a great barleywine. If anyone wants to meet there to share a brew and execute trades, that would be great. I like the place; they have lots of local brews for the taking.
