beer temple posted a couple of days ago that their drop was 12 days old. https://www.instagram.com/p/C1ppVTAv44_/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== I had my first can of head hunter yesterday and I agree with your assessment. Even with how crowded the IPA market is locally, I hope Fatheads distro becomes a regular thing.
Mine say 12/22/23 10:32. Posted on the bottom edge. Can't wait to revisit. This was my first introduction to IPA style a few years back.
Seeing some social media posts which seem to indicate a recent Beechwood Brewing drop. Have seen Amalgamator, Citraholic, Hop Jitsu & Hayabusa. Also, Beer Temple at least posted some wild ales as well from Beechwood Blendery for those interested.
A few Forest & Main Brewing Company beers popping up this week (perhaps coinciding with The Beer Temple's Mild Madness event over the weekend). I'll be looking out for the Bitter.
Beer on the Wall AH & PR, at least. I do see entries on the Binny's site as well but no idea if anything is hitting Binny's.
A quick heads up- if you’re still interested in trying the Forest & Main Bitter, the Booze Caboose in Ogilvie (by the French Market) still has singles as of yesterday. If this was available locally, it would be part of my regular rotation.
So I fully admit I am probably late to the party on this one, but all of these Xyauyu variants on the shelves in the city are unique and fantastic! I tried some in Italy last year and didn't realize we got them here, give them a try!
It depends, my argument for why they are 1. Among the thousands of beers out there, they are truly unique. They are "still barleywine" which is a twist on the norm but the results are complex. 2. They age wonderfully, so can be saved for special occasions 3. Some come with a stopper so you can save the bottle for longer after opening I will note I love most barleywine, old ale, strong ale, etc that I have so perhaps I am biased. I am also the weirdo who runs down to beer temple often when they get new scratch brewing stuff in, just love the out there and unique craftsmanship
