Before I start, I have searched this forum for the answer to my question and there are just too many broad answers. Let me explain. I will be in Chicago for a little less than 24 hours, staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago - Downtown (33 West Illinois). I literally need one bottle shop that I can go to in the walkable area that will provide me with the best local offerings, that's it. Thank you very much for your time! Cheers! Ryan
I'd say your best bet is Binny's on Grand. They get all local beers and it's walkable from the hotel. Enjoy your stay.
Yup, Binny's is for sure your best bet. There are a few other liquor stores around that you might hop into, but Binny's should be your main stop. If you're really serious, you can follow Beth on Twitter, as she updates the new beers they get in regularly.
These guys hit the nail on the head for selection and prices. I have personally been to that Binny's location and it's pretty well stocked. When are you coming to Chicago and are you looking for anything in particular?
I will be there Feb 12-13ish and I am basically looking for anything that I cant get in Jersey/NY or Hawaii, which is a lot. The typical PW, Half Acre, Off Color..... Hopefully my timing is superb and there will a special release from someone.
