The big one is Binny's....there are several throughout the city and burbs. A few other good ones are (and this depends on where you're staying) Warehouse Liquors in the South Loop, Andersonville Wine and Spirits, and Bottles and Cans.
that is certainly NOT an inquiry about the release, it was a question about a store in a video i saw for LAST years. so neener neener.
The amount of threads started in the last few months on where to find beer in Chicago is getting comical. There should be a definitive guide posted somewhere on this site that's easy to find.
This is on the front page about 25 posts down. http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/chicago-beer-run.187797/ If people can't find threads about the exact same thing that are already on the front page of the forum, good luck directing them another way.
This wasn't even LAST years Black Friday release, it was the year before (2012). The corridor between the two buildings wasn't there for the 2013 release!
Seriously though, it's pretty annoying to see the EXACT same question raised on the EXACT same page, at least twice weekly. Yes, Chicago has a really amazing beer scene, and yes, everyone should be exposed to almost all of the offerings within the city, but honestly, how challenging is it to look at the forum you're posting in to see if anyone else WITHIN THE LAST THREE DAYS has posted the EXACT SAME QUESTION?!?! Damn, I feel like we should already have the "Definitive Dark Lord 2015" post started already! /endrant
Just a simple search with "Chicago" in the string should suffice! And, please....no Dark Lord 2015 posts until at least July, ok??
