im heading to Chicago with my wife the weekend of February 16. We are going to see Hamilton on Sunday. Coming into town on Saturday and looking for a brewery with good beer and a great taproom. My wife doesn’t enjoy beer like I do so a killer tap room will usually help occupy her while I indulge. Also good food never hurt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, look at that thread. Also, some tap rooms / restaurants have more than just beer.

For example, Forbidden Root makes some great cocktails.

If you're driving up from TN, Scratch Brewing in Ava, IL is worth a stop.
    *insert obligatory detour joke*

Three Floyds in Munster, IN---about 35 minutes from downtown Chicago. Food is incredible.
