Does anybody know of any places open for new years with a good beer selection? A buddy or two and myself are looking to do something low key with something decent to sip on. At the moment we are leaning towards going to one of the Half Acre taprooms since that seems like a pretty solid option, just wanted to see if anybody knew of anything else. Thanks in advance!

When I saw your post headline, Half Acre was my thought. I’d recommend checking out Balmoral since you can pre-game with a beer at Spiteful. The only downside to Half Acre is gonna be getting an Uber out of there given the festivities but it shouldn’t be awful if you’re flexible on when you leave

Yeah, it's looking like Half Acre is probably the best option. And I agree that transporation home is the only worry, which would be less of an issue with the Lincoln location. Eh, we'll see. Thanks for the input either way, just figured I'd try to see if there was anything else out there!

Burnt City is always a good option. I know their beer isn't super popular but they do tap some killer BA offerings throughout the night. Good food and bowling all night.

What about Sheffields? Always great beer, good food and one block from the redline?

This was my thought also. I think Beer Temple is a solid option as well.
