    Chicago, bang bang.

Is Pipeline one of Chicago's favourite?

Little-known fact: "Sweet Home Chicago" was the last song Stevie Ray Vaughan played on stage.

It was at an Eric Clapton show at Alpine Valley, with opening acts SRV and Robert Cray. The final encore from Clapton was Sweet Home Chicago, featuring guitar solos from Clapton, Stevie, Cray, Jimmie Vaughan, Buddy Guy, and Clapton's second guitarist.

A short time later, Stevie's helicopter crashed, robbing the world of a great guitarist.

    Couple of things:
You could drop Seattle in the middle of Chcago and never find it again (population 705,000 vs 2,700,000)
Chigago summers? hot and muggy. Chicago winters? Don't ask!
Seattle murder rate 3.4 per 100,000. Chicago murder rate 28.2 per 100,000.
Oh, but it rains in Seattle! Yeah, average Seattle rainfall 37.1 inches average Chicago rainfall 36.83!

It is correct that Seattle does not get much annual rain as measured by inches. If instead you counted the number of rainy days, that would be a BIG value!!

    Cheers!

Anyone can live in San Diego or Charleston (or Seattle). Takes character to live thru Chicago (one g) winters.

A Portland (OR) bar tender once regaled me with horror stories of a one inch snowfall that closed down the city for a day. Really? @grantcty how's that sound?

I live 10 minutes south of three Floyd's. It takes something special to make me travel for beer. Not saying it's not good just saying it's gotta be great to make me seek out something in Chicago rather than just hitting up a binnys

It takes stubborness and stupidity. I'm not sure the two are mutually exclusive

How's your homeless drug population coming? No city is perfect so let's not get in a pissing match. And I live in neither place.

This does not surprise me. I've always noticed that Chicago has an enormous plethora of breweries.

No surprise here. For the last few years Chicago has been the most affordable large city to reside in the United States.

Well, Seatt-hole has Heinenitas and InBevlysian breweries, and Chicago has InbevIsland and (IIRC) Lagunitaken breweries.

Shrug. I'm not a fan of population centers, in general, but, I think we all can agree that NYC needs to get over itself.

    Amirite?
