You are not going to find Dust sitting on the shelves anywhere.

Seconded. The last batch of ZD sold out at the pub in just over a day.

OP, if you find a joint selling $20 sixers of ZD approach with caution. There's no telling how old it is.

but if you go a few blocks north, and one block west at local option not only will you find BCBS but barrel aged black albert, plead the fifth, and their barrel aged weissenbock with central waters.

Its unfortunately all on tap as I know you were looking for bottles but at least you can get these gems on tap if you got the time. The place is called 'Local Option' and they contract brew/collabo brew some of their own beers that are usually pretty awesome too.

Binny's on Grand (213 W Grand Ave) is a must if you are staying downtown and looking for bottles (no ZD though). Quick walk or hop on the Brown/Purple line going out of the Loop.

Go to the Binny's by the GI brewpub and ask Adam Vavrick (Vav on here) what he has that's rare or limited. Trust me, nothing can go wrong with that plan

He also likes it if you pronounce "Vav" more like "Veuve" so he sounds a little more european.

You forgot to include the fact that he only gives out "rare or limited" beer to those who serenade him with songs from his current favorite band, The Lumineers.

I'm going to Chicago this weekend, staying close to Millennium Park, are there any stores close for finding some Citra Ninja bombers to bring back? I see they just released a new batch. Also, are there any close options for bars/restaurants that specialize in local beers like Pipeworks, Rev, 18th St and Half Acre?

I see above that Binny's is close and Local Option sounds awesome.

Or conversely, your undying hatred for the band Coil - last time I heard he opened up a king henry to share in the back office with another coil-hating, rare-beer-loving nerd !!1

He also prefers that you kiss him on both of the cheeks and then the lips.

Though the order of those kisses is subjective.

Citra Ninja just got released again, might get lucky at the stores on the outskirts of the city. It only last hours in most places.

Check Maria's on 31st street. Only about 10 minutes from Millennium Park. They always have some good gems there.
