Yeah, I'm pretty sure it wasn't limited to bottles, as I had 2015 Coffee on tap last September that was infected as well.

 

The stuff at the party wasn't infected...it is just a naturally bad variant.

Yeah, noticed it as soon as I posted. Was excited about talking the lady into getting a DA shirt too.

 

Just cracked a Hazel's Nuts. Damn good. Glad I scooped two of 'em.

 

Not sure if this relevant anymore, but for those possibly still looking for 17' Parabola, Binny's on Grand had..... maybe six cases or so on the floor. And this was as of yesterday around 2pm.

 

Yesterday The Open Bottle had several cases of Raspberry Vlad if anyone is looking for that. Also had English Gentleman if anyone would like to smell his nuts. I mean, if that's still a thing.

 

I can confirm Bourbon Barrel Raspberry Vlad is at the open bottle and fantastic!

 

Tried the English Gentleman (the beer) and did not get any hazlenut, but got big coffee. I've seen cases of this stuff sitting around, and now that it's $11.99 during Binny's big IL beer sale I'm sure it will go a little faster now.

 

I'm gonna bump this thread. Prairie Paradise is in at some places if you feel like dropping $10. I should mention it has coconut and vanilla. Just Sayin'

 

I usually pass on PRAIRIE with the exception of a select few. I generally don't like a lot of their price points. I was going to leave paradise on the shelf until I saw coconut and vanilla. People and their personal addictions!

 

I didn't care for Paradise...too much coconut for me. But, I don't think I've had a coconut stout I enjoyed, unless it was barrel aged - I need something else to balance it out. My palate is really sensitive to coconut. Different stroke for different folks.

 

Yep, it seems like I'm just drinking some Hawaiian Tropic or something when I have a coconut stout. I remember opening a Coconut Jones Dog and sharing it with one of my wife's friends. I could barely get through a third of a glass, while she was extremely glad to take down the rest.

 

Coconut Jones Dog was like getting punched in the mouth with a coconut! I absolutely loved it! Different Strokes.....

 

I'm usually split on coconut beers 50/50. Love some, can do without others. Coconut Victory at Sea is one of the worst coconut beers I've had, it tasted beyond fake sun tan lotion. I've got a bottle of Prairie Paradise a friendly BA picked up for me and haven't tried it yet, but am looking forward to it. Might need to in case this shows up by me so I can make an informed decision about getting another. @FFFjunkie was it at Binny's if I may ask?
