Chicago Stout Releases (2018)

Any chance of some leftover 16 BCBS hanging out near Museum of Science and industry, gonna be over there this weekend.

 

You probably have a better chance to find the 17 version than the 16, truthfully that stuff doesn't sit around on the shelfs.

 

17 hasn't come out yet...

 

You can find it around sometimes. Occasionally small stores randomly bring out a case from the back, and really small places might have it behind the counter. Usually there's a crazy 2x upcharge. You should be able to trade for some pretty easily, too.

 

2 cases of high westified left at Binnys LP. 1 sixer per. Heading to Pipeworks next to see what's left.

 

It was sarcasm, point being that its hard to come by any BCBS at this point

 

Realize this, but seem to run across a random release every time I happen to be in town so I always try to check

Only place I know in Chicago that periodically puts out BCBS throughout the year is Capones Liquors. They're up north. Maybe if you go there and smooth talk the guy, mentioning you're out of town, he may help you out with some. Will probably have to buy other bottles from there too.

 

Baptist at binnys Oakbrook

 

Anybody see Baptist at Bolingbrook or DG?

 

They have some but not a lot.

 

There was about 3cases of baptist at SL Binnys.

 

Yesterday @ Binnys in BG picked up the last 16 Darkness and a few So Happens It's Tuesday....asked the guy if they got Baptist and said "sometime next week". After I rang up he came out to the parking lot to tell me they just unloaded a case of Baptist from the truck. And it was on sale with Binny's card!

 

No more Baptist at Lakeview Binny's. Got the last case of High West-ified.

 

They sold you a case? Nice. They must have got s lot.

 

Where in Edgewater?

 

Whole Foods off of Thorndale and a small wine/beer bottle shop near the 400 New Theater on Broadway. Its been a while but that Whole Foods only has Crack the Skye. LP Binnys still has a couple bottles of Darkness and got in BB Baptist.

... "Independent Spirits" might get some of this stuff too, 5947 N. Broadway.

 

Anyone know of any spots in Chicago that still have Westified? Was outta town this weekend and completely missed the drop unfortunately. Thanks for the help!
