(Separate thread from I80/Ohio one to avoid hijacking, and this is broader geography as well)

Driving out east at the end of the week and looking to check out a couple solid brewpubs along the way (no stores). The route would be I80 through IN/OH and then staying on that through PA/CT or I86 through NY. Willing to go off course a few hours on either route to check out some solid locales.

As a side note - I'd like to crack open my KH bottle before bidding farewell again to IL. Looking for the chance to try other solid barleywines or BA stouts I haven't had yet either (e.g. BA Hi-Fi, BCBVS, Rare, etc.). Figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone that has something alone those lines was interested in an impromptu bottle share this week. I'm willing to bring other bottles as well so I don't have to haul them (e.g. Parabola, Behemoth, etc.).

I've made several driving trips from Michigan to Boston and have taken the northern tier (NY Thruway/I-90) and the southern tier (Rt 17/I-390/I-88) and have stopped at 5 different breweries along the way and enjoyed each of them. Northern tier - Empire )in Syracuse); Brown's Brewing (in Troy) and Albany Pump Station. Southern tier - Roosterfish (Watkins Glen); and Market Street Brewing (Corning). I'll try others on future trips too. (That's the way vacations are planned around my house.)

I have also stopped at Barrington Brewery in Barrington, MA but it was not as good as the other 5 mentioned above.

    Enjoy your trip.
