Alright Chicago natives. I'm making a trip up there this week and am looking at picking up a bottle or two of Revolution Brewing Deth's Tar. Is this a brewery only pick-up or is it something I should be able to pick up at a decent bottle shop? Any input would be great

    Cheers

I've seen it on the shelves at quite a few good bottles shops. Depending on where you're staying, you can always call or check out Binny's (several locations), West Lakeview, The Beer Temple, Andersonville Wine & Spirits, or Warehouse Liquors. I'm sure you'll be able to grab a bottle.
    Cheers!

Thanks yeah I'm up in Chicago a bunch throughout the year so I'm familiar with some bottle shops I frequent I just didn't know if I had to travel down to the brewery to get it. Thanks.

You should have no problem finding it. There is a lot of it this year.

So much so that the wife and I drank it at the brewpub last NYE and we hope to do the same this year. :-)

The brewery on Kedzie is the best spot to grab it as it is $15 per bottle. I'd call ahead to make sure they have some.

I was at the tap room on Sunday and they had plenty. This is your best and cheapest option. Most of the beer stores had it and will get more, but aren't sure when.

Great bottle shops - Capones, Beer Temple, West Lakeview and Bottles & Cans. They are all relatively close to one another on the north side, maybe 2 miles or so from the tap room.

Get it from the brewery and try it on draft while your at it. Cheapest and most reliable option.
