Anything kicking around Chicago right now that is blowing people away? I'll be heading that way soon and I'm looking for advice for what to get that is around recently.
If you've never had Revolution, grab a sixer of their Anti-Hero (IPA) and Fistmas (Christmas ale). Both readily available and awesome.
I just saw some Pipeworks Ninja v Unicorn sitting at Binny's DG. The best batch if this beer they done so far. You should try to get this if you like DIPAs.

After a girls' shopping trip in Chicago last weekend, my wife stopped in at the downtown Binny's and brought me back a box full of Pipeworks bombers. (#best_wife_ever) The only one I've had a chance to try so far was the Imperial Hyper Dog Milk Stout. That was pretty darn good. Pipeworks recently released a White(?) Russian Imperial Stout called "Hey, Careful Man, There's A Beverage Here!" I might have to send my beloved on another shopping trip soon.
If you can still find a bottle of Revolution's Deht's Tar, get on that. Next week Abyss and FW 17th Anniversary are supposedly coming out. Oh and starting Monday SURLY is back in Chicago (my bar has two kegs of Furious). To put it simply, I'm pretty sure Chicago is the best beer city in the US.
