    But it's not remote at all... you have to walk on Sheffield to even make it to the L. You are making it sound like he's going to have to walk 5 miles down an alley to get to this place from the L. Lincoln Park at that hour is very busy if you are insinuating it isn't a safe area.

    I never said it was remote... Where are you getting all these assumptions from?
    This is what I said: "It's a little bit of a walk from the subway stop, but it's worth it."
    That's a true statement, so why you can't comprehend that is beyond me...

    It's all relative. 3 blocks to you may be short but for someone who doesn't have to walk everywhere, it may be a hike.

    Jesus. Only on BA could a harmless recommendation thread turn into a "I know better than you" pissing match of this caliber. We're all here for beer, which is meant to being joy...why act so shitty toward one another?

    You're right. It is relative.

    How late do bars stay open and serve in Chicago? Also, how late does the train run?

    most bars close at 2am. some have special licenses that allow them to stay open until 4, but these are few and far between. the blue and red train lines run all night, the others vary.

    @Josbor11
    If you haven't found a hotel, stay in a hotel that is close to the red line because they run all day/night and the red line pretty much takes you to most of the main areas in Chicago. You can also transfer to different lines through out the day for free using an all day pass. River North is a very busy area and most the hotels on Dearborn or Mich. Ave. are very walkable to the Red Line. Cabs shouldn't be an issue either, if you want to go that route. In Chicago there are an abundance of cabs.
