I'll launch this thread with a new article about Goldfinger in The Daily Herald.

Apologies if a paywall interrupts, but I was able to get through most of it.

Kudos to anyone with a subscription who may be able to copy and paste the report.

Hell yeah, Goldfinger are awesome. They ended up #2 on CB&B Readers' Favorite lager brewer, right behind Bierstadt, which is impressive and well-deserved.

Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I'm really excited for their take on Cascadian Dark Ale (in form of a lager), hitting the taproom next weekend!

Had a can of Gravitace last night. Damn that beer is good. Art History has got that beer locked in

also had a nice vienna lager by alarmist that wasn’t too shabby in its own right. Fruedenfruede, I might have spelled that totally wrong tho

Totally agree! Gravitace is really a world class lager

It's on cask at the Beer Temple...I plan on swinging by tomorrow/Friday to give it a try.

Run, don’t walk. It’s outstanding. Art history had it pouring on the cask last week

...and it's gone before I could get there.

Consolation prize: Shambles, an English porter from Art History, has replaced it.

Could be wrong but I do not recall any reference to it being packaged in cans.

Anyone try the Kräusen from Art History yet? Supposedly a take on the classic Oldy Style recipe?

Yeah, it's phenomenal. Pretty positive it's still on cask at RT right now.

Well... that just turned me off if that's really true. I was hoping it was their take on an old fashioned German Landbier.

Drank my share of Old Style in college, don't need a revisit of any kind.

There were only 4 firkins filled (2 served at RT, 1 at art history and 1 at beer temple). The majority of this beer has been lagering for the past several weeks. Canning next Wednesday and will be out for limited distro. I have hopes that the standard draft/cans will be even better than the cask version with the extended cold time.

Its delicious - reminds me of a classic american pilsner like Champagne Velvet.

It's not Old Style - like I said, much more of a CAP. Totally understand if that's not your speed, but its quite well done and very delicious.
