Chicagoland NE IPAs (2018)

18th Street putting out a 4 pack of a NE DIPA that has been massively dry hopped for only $13? Shot across the Bridgeman bow!

 

Maybe they're only 12 oz cans...

 

They are. To my knowledge 18th Street has only canned in 12 ouncers

 

I'll have to make the trip out tomorrow and pick some up!

 

Don't worry, they'll still have $13 bombers of sinister available if you feel like buying overpriced beer.

 

Per Hailstorm's twitter/FB, a new batch of Cirrus is out

I'd be interested to know how it compares to the last batch

also Stratus next Thursday

 

They did some of the Hunter beers in 16oz cans.

 

You are as correct as I am stupid.....there are literally 16oz cans of Hunter Vanilla in my fridge at home

 

I wonder how quickly 18th Street will run out of that stuff, since they don't distribute the In The Shadows series.

 

They have in the past (Thread the Needle cans), but only to local, Indiana stores. However, somebody on their Twitter asked them if this one will see any store shelves - and they said no.

I'm sure the hype train will cause them to run out quick, but hopefully it lasts longer than the recent Mikerphone IPA's...

 

Who knows, limit of 2 4/packs though and maybe NW Indiana isn't into NE IPAs yet? But $13 for a 4 pack? So nice of them not to rake their customers over the coals. How can we not support them.

 

Remember though, it's $13/48oz since they can the In The Shadows series in 12oz cans.

 

If anybody is interested in how it Twisted Doom looks. It's always so dark in 18th Street though

To be fair, that picture was posted on Untappd last night, and is not mine. I know some people's choice to buy it depends on how much it follows the #hazecraze #dazefordayz trend, so the picture was mainly for them

I'm having somebody pick me up a 4-pack at 11am today, so I'll be inclined to let you guys know when I have it in my possession!
