    The lactose IPA Mikerphone released crowler only yesterday wasn't billed as a NE IPA but it sure fit the bill. Was a lighter orange than the special sauce. Creamy mouthfeel and some nice hop flavor throughout. Very good and worth getting if you're there.

    Edit: beer is called heavy as a feather

    Rubber Ducky is very solid but does not really fit the NE bill; lacking on the mouth feel and haze but still very happy I tried it, the galaxy is very prominent, medium bitterness and $10 a crowler. To me it seemed like a very similar profile to Navaja but swapping the mosaic for galaxy

    Stopped in and tried jive gummy, mosaic gummy, and let's gummy at Noon Whistle last night. Jive and Mosaic were awesome! I could drink that mosaic all day. I didn't care for Let's Gummy, but I suspect the cryo-hops. Got a weird vegetation flavor from it - but thats most likely just my palate.

    Also, an interesting tidbit that I posted in the Noon Whistle thread ... the bartender at Noon Whistle said that they will be canning a NE style IPA in the near future - they are just trying to narrow down which recipe they like and which one will can best. Interestingly, he said that they most likely won't distribute the NE style cans, but only sell them out of the brewery. He said that with the live yeast in them they want to control the storage of them up to selling them to a customer and not trust stores with them ...

    The latest batch of Stratus is great by the way. The mouth feel is super soft and it's really tasty. I'd recommend picking up a 4-pack if you come across it

    I had Honey last night and I thought it was a solid IPA, but it is not NE Style (nor is it advertised as such).

    Stopped by Imperial Oak Brewing as well. Love the location and brewery itself, but their NE IPA offering "Crank It Hype," was meh. Still worth a trip out there though on a weekend due to setting - Right on a river by forest preserve.

    I believe they made less of Bear. I didn't get much blueberry in the tatse I had, but it was perfectly good.

    This is closer to the style of an Alchemist beer than Trillium, but I actually am very pleased. It won't make that fruity milkshake crowd happy, but for those looking for a little fuller feel than your typical IPA, and some bitterness on the end, this is a good one to pick up. Not going to convert people to HB, but I'm very glad I have 4 cans of this.

    From the email we got, I understood it as honey from a blueberry flower. At least that's how I interpreted it.
