Ha, it was great post, man. Just flipping ya some Great Lakes forum ribbing. Hoping to get by FB tomorrow to try it (Get Lit) myself if it's still around.

I'm wondering too, as I might be coming in from Oak Park, but probably not until 9:30 or so.

That's probably about my time frame. If you make it down and see a bearded guy in a red sox hat come say hi.

I'd guess plenty, since they're doing 64 oz growler fills.

For those who have yet to try Stay Lit, I would say get on it. One of the best examples of the style I've had in the Chicago area. Great nose, pillowy mouthfeel, and a faint IPA bite in the background. Haze for days. Just an all-around great beer. Any thoughts of saving the 2nd half of the howler until today were quickly dashed.

Now to come up with an errand to run that would put me in the vicinity of Forbidden Root...

Just throwing in another recommendation for stay lit. Fantastic beer, tied with squeeze it for me for the best Chicago offering I've had. The lady filling the growlers said they have basically been filling growlers of it nonstop since last night so she is unsure how much longer it will last.

Can second the supply comments. When I got to the kiosk they were discussing how much longer it would stay on. They seemed unsure if growler fills would be on past tonight, but out sounds like it'll be on tap for a little longer on-premise.

Just came back from Forbidden Root.
Stay Lit is unreal. Hands down the best NE style in Chicagoland for my tastes. 100% perfect. So good and so happy I got to try it and so happy this is happening here. This beer is amazing.

While I still like Squeezeit more (if we're making that comparison, which isn't 100% necessary) due to it having more bitterness, Stay Lit is yet another home run for recent Chicago hazy shit. I'm basically running back and forth between Corridor and FR at this point.

I'm sure there are plenty of beer beers out there on a budget.

If you aren't buying 12 packs of Born Again Yesterday for $20, then you are doing it wrong.

Just thought I'd remind everyone that Lagunitas knows how to show off every once in a while. This batch seems to be bigger and much more available. It seems it's sitting this year due to the 12 pack format.

The 12 pack I bought this evening is still fantastic

Another one for Stay Lit. Had it on draft Friday night and future wife twisted my arm into a 64 oz growler fill instead of 32 oz. Pleased with that decision.

I thought Stay Lit was a stunner. - I could taste that classic Floyds hop in a pillow case of NEIPA orange juice. Am I nuts or was the first batch of Mikerphone Check 1,2 better than this second one?!

First batch of mic check definitely better. I thought this batch was good, but nothing special.

    Stay lit is lit.

Stay lit still going strong for growler fills and draft. Place wasn't that crazy either

I'm at Forbidden Root right now. Stay Lit is very good. Very interesting beer to check out, especially since it was brewed with wood. But my vote for best NEIPA in Chicago is Poetic Hustler.

Anyone who thought that Mikerphone Check 1, 2 was too bitter on draft this batch, open up a bottle. It's fantastic.
