    Beer update:

Snoochie cans are tasting better every day. Like some others have mentioned, I thought the first couple of days were a little green/grassy. Going to try and add a couple extra days of conditioning before packaging next time.

    New DIPA

Ghost Tropic (Azacca, Amarillo, Motueka) 8%

Heavier grain bill than Snoochie and completely different hop profile.

    Aroma: Pineapple/tropical

Mouthfeel/body: Water adjustments are close to final. Best one yet. Thick and pillowy like Radio Swan (but without the lactose). Closest I've come to straight juice. Moderate sweetness that has a slick/syrupy mouthfeel that you can only get in higher abv beers.

Flavor/bitterness: Pineapple juice. Slightly less bitter than Snoochie. Heavenly.

Kind of in love with this one right now.

Released this Friday @ 5pm (draft/growler only for now)

BJP, do you guys fill other brewery's growlers? (Sorry if this has been asked previously)

Yes they do as long as it has the Surgeon General warning. The only other caveat being they may not be able to physically fill some types of growlers. For example, they tried to fill a Half Acre howler for me and due to the different sized opening, they couldn't get a seal with their filling machine and it just filled up with foam instead. So I picked up a nice FR howler that day.

Just to be clear, you have the old half acre howlers that have no handle and the smaller mouth. They fill the more recent half acre howlers that are the same things as the FR ones.

From Dry Hop... Juicy Canseco is 6.0% and was brewed with Grüngeist, Mosaic, and Citra hops, which contribute citrus and tropical fruit in both flavor and aroma. A soft mouthfeel and low bitterness allow the hops to shine further in the finish.

Has anyone tried 18th Street's Lucifer In Haze? I'm wondering if it's worth making the trip out there for.

Banter is 6/29...seems like they're basically doing Gummy releases every 2 weeks.

Just taking a moment here, just a very short time ago we were getting this style from these same breweries and seeing promise. And now, we are anticipating every release and considering some of these guys heavy hitters. Are they Treehouse, probably not. But to me, they're better because they are more readily available to me.

My 100 is Radio Swan. As I missed the Snoochie cans, I'm going to have to seriously request the day off in order to ensure getting those Radio Swan cans. :sunglasses:
