Anyone know if Radio Swan is still around? Haven't been able to find this one.

As of yesterday around 6, there were a few 4pks left at Bitter Pops.

I actually like that the rye is more subdued and just gives a little extra flavor dimension. Most rye beers I've had, the Rye is the showcase and personally, am not a fan of those.

so @BJP please don't change it

I had my second can of Radio Swan last night, really enjoyed it. The first can seemed a little sweeter than I like (similar to Stay Lit, so not unexpected), but I let the can warm up last night, and the rye seemed to blend much better with the sweetness at that point. It comes together in a really pleasant way that reminds me a little of what I love about Nugget Nectar (the two look/taste nothing the same, of course).

I'm glad to see BJ experimenting with taking NE beers in different directions; no matter how good they are, there are only so many similar takes on the style I'll want to drink in a small period of time.

The recent releases of cans in the area has been the best in awhile, in my opinion. I had two crowlers of Narrow Gauge offerings over the weekend (OJ Run and Sparkle Motion), and while they were awesome, I'd put Radio Swan, Chemical Connection, and Reckless Keystroke ahead of them. Cosmic Juice Box was amazing as well, I just excluded that one due to it being released awhile ago, and I did not have Bendy Straw.

No Radio Swan for Lakeview Binny's. I know that Grand and Lincoln Park got some. Those two also received Snoochie Boochie's last time around. Not sure if it's this specific Binny's location or how FR is distributing. Just seems odd to me.

Looking on Untappd: it seems that they missed on the body for NE Style beers. It's a fairly clear, amber color that produces a big head. I'll still give it a whirl in hopes that it will be like some of the past Hop Butcher "NE Style" releases that were still tasty.

Which, on the HB topic, they should be releasing another very soon (canning Friday?).

Honestly, while that sort of beer does not scratch the itch I have when I want something in the Corridor/FR vein, there are definitely times when I'd rather have the "hybrid" style (more similar to an Alchemist-type hazy IPA).

Those two beat me to it. The latter (Skrap Metal, if memory serves?) will be the more NE-style one, I believe. Similar to Unwind Your Mind.

Who does the artwork for Hop Butcher? The 2 flat art reminds me of an artist that does a lot of posters for local musicians.
