FYI, picked up a 4-pack of GB at Binny's Grand around 4:30. Hoppy Days was there too. Both in the back.

Bought another pack of GB at Lakeview Binnys yesterday around 2 pm. Could still be there.

Bitter Pops is killing it. Galaxy Bowl Release and Juice Pants 3 release this week. They are the king of the upstart local breweries....

Picked up another 4 pack of Cumulus today; going to see how it holds up against the Alchemist (and local) stuff.

Also, Juice Pants 3 actually looks very hazy per Maplewood's IG (as opposed to 2, which was completely clear in my experience). Should be interesting to try.

Read warehouse has fresh cumulus. Might have a look after work. I'll post back if they do. Where is everyone else grabbing it? Binnys?

That sounds like a weird euphemism.

They're dated 11/16/16. Not nearly as fresh as I'd like (I'd prefer they were dated either today, or tomorrow), but good enough I guess. :stuck_out_tongue:

To be safe I'm gonna 3 three cans out, and leave one, just to say I tried it.

This batch of Cumulus is pretty damn solid.

I got two 4 packs of Galaxy Bowl on Friday. Had 3 over the weekend. To me it tasted almost like a peach wine. I'm gonna let it sit for another few days to a week and let it mellow a bit. Did anyone else get that flavor? Or it may just be my palette.

Anyone hit up the Galaxy Bowl release at Bitter Pop's. Kind of wondering if people got carried away with the no limit and walked out with cases.

There was a limit of 1 case, but those most someone walked out with was 3

Having one the Cumuli myself tonight, and I agree with my initial thoughts. It tastes like an Alchemist-lite beer. Doesn't quite have the full maltiness that I love in Focal and Heady, but it has the basic hop profile down. I might be crazy, but I think the feel of the beer is a little smoother than it was last batch, and the beer might be a little more opaque.

Definitely still a great beer. Not quite the milkshake style that everyone here seems to want, but it's tasty and does a good job at representing the NE area, if not Treehouse/Trillium, kind of like an Alchemist/milkshake hybrid.

I got peach and passion fruit myself, but I also didn't have this latest batch. Either way, extremely fruity beer with an amazing nose.

I just finished my 2nd one from batch 2, and both were a little wine-y towards the finish. Very fruity beer that's still pretty tasty, but that turned me off a bit.
