Wondering what tap rooms might be best to grab a book at or just sit and enjoy? I feel like alot are either super busy or otherwise pretty loud, wondering if there are any you might recommend to sit atalone and read with a beer?
I'd say you could go just about anywhere. It's more about what time you go and what day of the week. Early in the week and day have always treated me well.
Town Hall Tap (the one on Chicago and 48th) is my favorite beer place to read. Their small patio is really nice in the summer. It's well shaded, and that part of Chicago Ave is busy enough that you feel like you're somewhere without being so busy it's distracting.
You didn't ask for a particular area, and though I see you are from somewhere in Minnesota, I'll chime in with Monk's for those in Sioux Falls. It is decent sized, and usually quiet with plenty of places to chill.
