Visited the new brewery in Long Valley NJ over the weekend (June23). I was very impressed for a brewery only open just over a month to produce such excellent beers. I have full pours of the saison and the chinook IPA - both excellent - and tasted the other 6 offerings...all very, very good. They are 15-20 minute drive from the three Hackettstown breweries so I would highly recommend putting them on your radar for a visit when in that area.
I happened to stop by on opening day but haven't been back since. They had a beer called Growing Pains which wasn't bad, better than the "Single Dingle" Chinook. I'll check them out again this summer
Stopped by yesterday for the first time and enjoyed it. Eight beers on tap with a good variety (three lagers, APA, Imperial IPA, British brown, Saison, Hefeweizen). Had a Fresh Hop Pilsner and a Schwarzbier, both very tasty. Depending on the beer it was $7 for a 12 or 16 oz pour. Crowlers were $14 or $16 but lots of people were coming in for them. Flights of four 4 oz beers for $11. Had a nice conversation with the brewer who was very friendly and eager to talk about the beer. He said the lagers tied up the tanks for a while but they have some new stuff coming out soon, a few hoppy beers, a porter, and a sour. Looking forward to going back.
$14 -$16 for a crowler is a little nutty straight from the brewery...$8 a pint is NYC pricing...from the source I would hope is less for a flagship...
