The Chimay Speciale Cent Cinquante is available in a local beer store- but it is very pricey-$36. Is it worth it?

I've not had it precisely because of how expensive it is, but for what it's worth, I usually see it in the $22-25 range.

Hmm... They just got it in, perhaps it's a price misquote. Is it worth it, though?

Yeah it was $25ish here, $36 seems outlandish. It was good but honestly not worth ever paying that amount of money for again. I gave it the same exact rating as their regular tripel, and their regular tripel is also my favorite chimay beer.

Good point. You saved me money better spent on other beer.

When I was in Maryland for Thanksgiving the two stores I frequent there had it for $35. I've seen it online for $27-32 or so. I'm still not sure yet if it's worth the price but it does appeal to my love of huge anniversaries.
