Harpoon Chocolate Stout is surprisingly decent, and doesn't have hints of coffee from what I remember.

Sorta agree with this... but to me it tasted like chocolate icing vs. the cake part of the cake.

Sam Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout or Southern Tier's Choklat.

Actually, I had a bottle of ST's Mokah last weekend and was surprised at how pronounced the chocolate notes were, so I'll throw that one in the mix as well.

Also: I've never been super impressed by Rogue, but would y'all say their Double Chocolate is worth picking up?

For anyone who has had the pleasure of having a Surly Cacao Bender (they only do it on tap), it's phenomenal. The smoothest brown ale I've ever had combined with a perfect chocolate note.

Limited distribution but Mikkeller - Beer Geek Cocoa Shake is probably the most chocolately beer I've ever had.

New on the scene, but River Horse's Chocolate Porter tastes an awful lot like a bar of chocolate.

Flying Monkeys Chocolate Manifesto, blew southern tier choklat away. Tasted like a liquid tootsie roll and not too sweet

4 Hands Chocolate Milk Stout. It lacks a bit of the nice body/mouthfeel, but in terms of chocolate flavor this one packs a ton. Pleasantly surprised by this beer.

I personally will have to agree with those who named Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout, Chocklat is pretty intense also and I liked atwater for chocolate taste too.
