Christmas Mainstream beers

    It looks like the rotation of most major chains/stockists will to this from Wychwood Bah Humbug, both really highlights the degeneration of the mainstream Christmas beer
    I mean Bah Humbug started at in Bottle at only 5% & then on draught went to about 4.5 where on cask the peppermint was barely noticeable

    Long gone are the 6.5-9% xmas spice beers

    On which note I've just had a Robinsons beer this pm which turned out to be really poor. M&S Chocolate Porter, which contains both 'Glucose syrup' and 'Chocolate flavouring'. WTH-Yeugh!.... and it tasted the same. -- This is the same Robinsons that brews the majestic Old Tom ale.
