Chugging Craft Beer

Oh yeah sounds like a blast bruh. We're all amazed. Hope you have the video somewhere. I'm dying to see it. This chugging of beers must be a new thing.

Agreed. I can only imagine he started chugging liquor as a teenager. I remember from his Vice episode that he mentioned going to school drunk in the 8th grade ( )

 

Buddy of mine did a full sized boot (2L) of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter in 1 min 34 sec. A bar record that will never be broken. He got it free because he destroyed the old record, followed it up with two more pints and went home.

Yeah, there is an interesting phone interview article out there I read about him. Apparently he's been doing shit like this for almost his entire time on this planet.

Chugging a craft beer would be like eating a 5 star meal as fast as you can, or running through a museum. Like others before me in this thread, I do not see the point.

 

I can recall chugging a Dirtwolf when it was first released...

was at a Pearl Jam concert and didn't want to miss the first song but had already opened the bottle...

not the best decision as I almost chucked it back up but I'm glad to report I managed to keep it down and enjoyed a great show.

 

Only thing I could ever chug was milk stout...BMC stuff is just too fizzy

I shot gunned a can of Black Label a hell of a long time ago, I'm not a very good chugger.

 

I once saw someone shotgun a can of TenTIDY at a bar. Thats what the small circle on the side of the can is for right? But seriously, saw him do it and he got it down. I have seen some people with various impressive chugging skills (beer bonging 40s, chug a beer faster than you can do a shot, etc), but that was one of the most impressive I have seen.

One time and sadly it was with the only time I had a chance to taste Founders Breakfast Stout. I was in Chicago and meeting the owner of my company and his wife for dinner. I was waiting in the bar as I was early just got my beer when they walked in. Did not want to meet his wife with a beer in my hand and did not want to abandon it as it was pretty expensive so I had to chug it. Pretty sure you could smell it on my breath.

 

The greatest thing about craft beer is the taste. Why would you slam it? Lawnmower beer is for chugging.
