I think he’s pointing out that you might not get bottles if you go at that time. Last year the cutoff was around 4:45.

I’m going Sunday at opening to drink with all the old folks who order bud lite.

Well, if it does rain, its going to deter a lot of people from lining up. Most of the line last year was in dirt. Dirt+rain = lots of mud...

Yea bud might be too late..I want to secure my bottles. People will cut no matter what. I got to the remys pappy release at 3 am and probably was the 40th person there. After the numbers were handed out I was 78!

I guess I'm just a crotchety old burn out, but I can't fathom the idea of people even considering the idea of showing up before 9 in the morning, let alone camping out overnight like insane vagrants... I guess I should just be grateful for the good ol days. The first one was cool as hell, the second one was ridiculous(to me at the time) now I wouldnt even bother with this "event". How is there any fun to be had waiting in line for 45 minutes at a time per pour and packed in asses to elbows??

I waited in line for 4 hours last year, thinking I was gonna score bottles. How silly of me. My girlfriend wanted to stab my every orifice. Just glad I made it out alive

Well, bottles are going to first 200 people.. I can't really see getting there any earlier or sleeping in the parking lot. So, if we show up and it's crazy busy, we'll turn around and go to bed. I live 5 minutes away from the place.

There's always a nice hot breakfast at Denny's if the line is too long.

Don't mean to only make jokes in this thread, but damn people are a lot crazier than I am when it comes to getting rare beers.

That's why you go at 3-4 pm. Problem solved. It's less busy that a typical SF financial district bar on a friday night at that point. Easy peasy.

The last time I stood in line all night for beer was Foothills' BA Sexual Chocolate. Not sure it's worth doing that here (especially while I'm on a business trip), but boy is it tempting.

I'm hoping more people are disappointed with trying to show up late and join friends than getting shut out on bottles. Hopefully this double wristband eliminate line cutting before and after tickets are handed out. More people cut the line to get the in festival after tickets were handed out than before.

I'm going to sound like a complete asshole, but I almost hope this is an irrecoverable mess of a shitshow, so we can finally buy the damn beer on BPT like civilized neckbeards.

Just posted on facebook: "Churchill's Finest Hour Online sales... I really didn't want to do this, so it's going to cost you! I feel the people who wait in line deserve it, but for those of you that can't make it that day, I'm giving you a shot. I am selling 100 bottles at $50 and after that 100 bottles at $100. It's a two bottle limit per person. All proceeds over my normal bottle price are going to the San Diego Humane Society. Also, I'm releasing the bottles at 8am on March 1st on Brown Paper Tickets. The link will be cfh.brownpapertickets.com . I'm trying to prevent double dipping by releasing them while people are waiting in line and I'm passing out wristbands. I'm sorry if you think this is unfair, but I'm happy to help shelter animals in the process. You can always take your shot at waiting in line. People can have trustees pick up the bottles eventually, etc.(online sales only)."
