    Absolutely awesome.

I commend him for trying, but I'm guessing everyone in line will be on their phone trying to get more bottles.

Either way, kudos to Ivan for using the beer's popularity to benefit the Humane Society.

don't think BPT works on mobile phones. At least Citra DDG and ALesmith didn't

It's does, just have to choose the full site and not use the mobile version it loads at first. I'm going to wait for the second 100 bottles, since they will cost 100 they should trade for more.

I'm curious on what the bottle count/limit/price for people waiting in line is.

Let's say they sell bottles at $35 each with a 2 bottle per person limit for the people waiting in line. You're only paying $30 more to get your bottles online without having to stand in line for 8-10 hours in the rain. If their reason to sell bottles online is for charity, why won't they just sell all the bottles online for $50 a bottle and give the person a week to pick up their bottles. That's even more money going to charity.

A lot of People will show up to Churchill's just on Younger alone.

Yeah, this. I'm a bit concerned with all this different pricing. The bottles should just all be set at $50. Otherwise...

... I hope they mark which bottles are the $50/$100 ones so I can trade them for more.

Here is another chunk of the same newsletter that went out:

"At approximately 8 am, I will pass out a second wristband to the first 150(down from 200 because of online sales..see below) people with the right sequential wrist band. If you show up at 3 am and get wristband number 60, your buddies show up and cut at 7am, they'll have numbers in the 100s. They shouldn't be up in the line anyway, but they will not get bottles even though they are up front in line. In that same vein, if you have wristband number 1 and decide to go home, you go to the back of the line when you come back and you will not get the right to buy bottles. Bottles are $30 a piece .. cash only please. "

Of course that was the price last year until you went to pay and they were all of a sudden 35 a pop

That was a true story. After waiting since 2am I wasn't going to argue about 5 bucks thought.

Excellent news on the online sales. I'll pay $15 extra to give to Humane Society all day long. And if I get shut out, I'm no worse off since I would never stand in that line in a million years anyways.

    Woot.

Say if you happen to be lucky enough to land a bottle online, how long do you have to pick it up?

Last year they were "suppose" to be $25 a pop like every other release and then when you got inside to buy bottles the price was all of a sudden $30. Hopefully Ivan doesn't pull the same shit again this year. $30 is a bit steep for the beer as it is but since I am an idiot I would probably pay $35 to keep my vert going.
