Don't get too excited, Cigar City has stated many many times that they can barely supply the home market let alone all the way up here. I'm sure the shipments will be few and far between sadly. That being said, Jai Alai is still damn good.
Justin if Dry Hopped om the High Seas makes it up by you, then I think you will get some Jai Alai as well, seems to be a combined delivery...
I was at Whole Foods in the city today and happened to run into the distributor (SKI) there. This last delivery was very limited. In fact WF Bowery was limiting purchases to 1 can each of Jai Alai and DHOTHS for $2.99 each. WF Chelsea had a few sixers of each left. The distributor said they are getting 500 cases of Jai Alai next week though and Jai Alai will be on the shelves on a regular basis in the NY area from here on out. Great news if he is correct, and I have no reason to doubt what he said. As far as some of the rarer bottled stuff such as Good Gourd or Zuhkov, that won't be coming up this way too often if at all. I'll be happy with a steady supply of Jai Alai though.
Jai Alai as singles only is fucking ridiculous. It's a decent IPA at best. Btw, the stores on LI that got it have plenty and selling without limit. Fuck Whole Foods Bowery. They ruin beer
