I've had a few BAs mention that they date but no one's been able to tell me what they are. Can anybody let me know what format so i can add it to my site? Maybe a pic to show or better yet, send me some Thanks guys!
It will say, for example: "APRIL2012" then under that stamped the day "SEVEN". If you are looking at the label it should be stamped to left of the main design.
That's the date of bottling. I just double-checked the Jai Alai I bought a couple weeks ago to be sure. What's your website to which this is being added?
Awesome, I regularly use your site when I have no fucking clue where, if or how a brewery dates their beer..so thanks for compiling all that info
I like this entry from your list. Four Peaks: Uses a marking system that only they know. From the brewer: We have a marking system on the labels that tell us exactly when the beer was bottled that matches to some special cards we have here. WTF? Why even have a date if it isnt able to be decoded by the end user?
Probably just because its for their use to keep turning over efficiently instead of realizing suddenly they have a palette of 4 month old IPS
That is word for word what he told me so idecided to put it directly on my site. Regardless of his reasons, it was clear in the conversation that he wouldn't tell me what the code was.
