+1 on the Lacto GG. I picked up 6 the last time I went and am still sorely disappointed at my mistake. Such awesome beer.

does anyone know if CC fills non-CC 32oz growlers? My wife is headed there this Tues and she may fill something that is draft only. Also, just to clarify FLA still does not fill normal 64oz growlers, correct?

Does cigar city also serve food?

Any suggestions for must-try/buy beers available at the brewery would be greatly appreciated!

 

They will fill non CCB growlers

They have a sandwich station but it's not always open. Lots of food trucks in evenings. You can order food too for delivery

ive read a bit about 'growler tues' in some older threads. Does that still go on and if so, what does it entail?

If you had to choose going to the brewery itself or the brewpub 15 mins north which one would you go to? Is it worth going to both?

Get there sometime between 11-11:45 and put your name in for a growler at 12. They'll put your growler in line to be filled with your name on it. They'll announce what the beer is at 12 or a little before.

Brewpub grass fed burger. Get it. Its that good.

Brewpub has fantastic food but there is no missing the Cigar City brewery experience. Too many fantastic brews too little time.

Today was dead and I know the guys at the growler fill were getting frustrated when people (myself included) showed up to get their last catador bottles.

Just a disclaimer, make sure you either buy those guys a beer or throw them a nice tip or bring a beer they can drink. It's a huge pita for them to go through that big ass book to sign off on your bottles. I went and it took them what seemed to be an hour doing tedious work so I def think I rewarded them by throwing a hefty tip at them. This club has been great and love everything about it so don't forget the guys who give you your bottles!
