I brought the Mexican cake and it has more spicy-ness than hunahpu and its less sweet and chocolaty.

In my mind Huna is a perfect balance of the cacao and spicieness of the chilis. Will have to try the Mexican Cake and see what I think...

Do you have to buy breakfast or can you just get a bottle?
    Is there a limit?

One bottle per adult until they run out, in order to purchase a bottle you must order off the brunch menu... I know a number of us tried to get extra bottles today, I didnt have any luck...

Either Ghost of Huna or another brown ale variant with berries or vanilla or cinnamon or whatever they feel like throwing up for the non-whale-bait of the week. If you're lucky they might throw up a suicide blend of Three Palms Ruby Pogo, Geiger's Hoppy Amber, and Wakatu.

Thanks for the info guys, just picked up one today. Anyone know if it was brewpub release only? Or will they have some at the tasting room as well?

They have to have more because the girl at the brewpub said they only released 30 Saturday and 30 Sunday. It just sucks having to buy food each time in order to get ONE beer. Haha I know I'm a cheap bastard

Why do they have to have more? The whole point of these vintage weekends is to get customers into the brewpub for brunch by offering previously released beers that you can no longer buy anywhere. They will do another release next weekend with something different. They are being nice by letting people take the bottles to go, they could just as easily say its for on site consumption only and bring it out already opened.

No heart attack. Just letting you know these will never be in the tasting room because the whole point is to get people down to the brewpub to buy their awesome food.

I'll play CCB homer now, but I must give kudos to the brewpub for some exceptional food and service. The wife and I went to the brunch Sunday, had the fried chicken and the ropa vieja Eggs Benedict and both were top notch. Picking up the Capricho Oscuro was just icing on the cake, we had a really great experience. I'm told these releases will continue on the weekends for a bit to entice folks to give them a shot. If you do, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
