Anyone know what the surprise is for them on Friday? I am pretty curious to find out.

Facebook says Friday there will be a surprise and they would post it...thought someone would have an idea about whether it would be a special tapping or special release.

I doubt it's White Oak Jai Lai, but there were three sixers of the base beer on the shelves, which means they are making enough, which means they can make White Oak. Right, CCB? Are you listening?!

Seriously man, that beer's been a ghost for past a year now. A year too long if you ask me.

Ghost of Hunaphu. Hunaphu aged in apple brandy barrels and then moved on top of ghost chili peppers. Tapping at 1:13pm tomorrow. All info on their Facebook page. Sounds delicious!

At the 2011 Festival of Barrel Aged Beers, Goose Island tapped a Ghost Pepper Bourbon County Stout. The stout held up very well in the midst of the heat of the ghost pepper. The burn kicked in after you were done drinking the glass. I think the added spice added to an already fantastic stout, but admittedly, the brew certainly wasn't for everyone.

Cheers to Cigar City for experimenting with variations of an already fantastic product and serving the locals!

    Heres the specific post.

Hello there boys and "ghouls!" As you may know, tomorrow is Friday the 13th, a very special day indeed! Cigar City "Boo"ery will celebrate by tapping a very special keg! Right when the clock strikes 13:13 (or 1:13pm as it's more commonly known), we will start serving The Ghost of Hunahpu! This "witch's brew" has been aged for several months in Apple Brandy barrels before being moved on top of.....GHOST CHILI PEPPERS! Oh yes this is quite the spicy little treat indeed! Can you handle the "creeping" heat in your throat? We'll be selling snifters, but we will also sell sample sizes for anyone who is (understandably!) "spooked" by this beer! Can you handle the wrath of the ghost? One keg and it's gone! Muahahahahahnogrowlershahaha!

Not to threadjack, but seriously. I had just a sip or two from a flight on BA Zhukov day. Homefront wasn't even in the same stratosphere. If not for my low tolerance and devouring some Zhukov and Snack Attack, I would've been throwing back as much White Oak as humanly possible.

Very cool idea with the Huna, wish I could try it!
