Will be in Cincinnati and Southbend this week and wanted to pick up a few local beers to take home. Any suggestions on what to grab?

    Cheers Chris

I suggest grabbing some listermann / tripple digit beers in cincy. Look out for Burn em brewery while in south bend. I'm pretty sure they distro to much of Northern Indiana. I enjoyed kreamed corn and coconoats when I had it last year.

Hit Bare Hands (Granger). At any Chalet / Belmont store get any Greenbush if you haven't had it. They are Southern Michigan, but close enough to Indiana and we claim them. You should also be able to get 18th Street at any Chalet or Belmont. Goshen Brewing Company and Iechyda In Elkhart both make great beers. You can only get crowlers there though.

Listerman Brewing in Norwood currently has their Plain Ole Porter in stock along with 7 Barrel Variants. I picked up the regular and Heaven Hill versions yesterday. Their Chickow! and Nutcase Peanut Butter Porter are excellent.

MadTree Joon (Gin Barrel Aged Juniper Ale) is on shelfs around town, it's excellent. Super refreshing.

Try to make a stop at Jungle Jims in Cincy, they usually have a pretty great selection, plus tons of weird food.
