Cinco De Mayo the BA way?

I will go the neighborhood party planned and drink some damn good beer all day... according to what I think is good. and enjoy myself

I'll probably go out of my way to drink some Mexican craft beer.

 

we have 5 rabbit brewery in chicago. they have some good stuff that's appropriate for cinco. i've been dying to have some cerveza cucapá, but looks like it's only available in cali. i'm looking forward to cerveceria sagrada whenever it comes out.

 

Mikkeller Tequila Barrel-Aged Black Hole is what I shall be cracking for the occasion. I am admittedly much more excited to crack open my CBS tonight in honor of being done with undergrad

 

My GF is bringing me on a beer buying trip tomorrow for our 5 year anniversary of the day we met. She says the only requirement is that I have to get stuff I have never had yet. Reminds me of some story I heard once involving a kid and a candy store...

 

I am going to a Kentucky Derby / Cinco de Mayo party tomorrow at a buddy's. I told everyone on the invite that I am bringing a Mexican Cake. Since I am half Mexican I think a lot of them are going to be greatly disappointed when they find out it is a beer and not really a cake. Also gonna have some New Holland Mole Ocho.

Oh, and for the Derby I got me some Kuhnhenn's Mint Julep Mead.

Should be memorable!

 

I'll be in Media PA so I'll probably swing by Pinocchio's; they have Chocolate Sombrero on tap among other good stuff.

Damn OS, I'm really regretting not getting in on the BIF. And...you have a Randall? And (soon) a homebrewed Tamarind Saison? Crap I gotta get out more.

 

The LA Galaxy tailgaters are getting a treat as I will be cleaning out my fridge to make room for new beers. The list will include:
Hoptimum, 312, Gumballhead, Left Hand Milk Stouts, assorted homebrews, Bruery DFH Collabo (FBBSGQS), Abyss '11, Espresso Yeti, Chicory Stout, Pliny, Half Acre Daisy Cutter, Mother Funker, Ruthless Rye, NG Wisconsin Red... and maybe a few others. Add in some tequila and margarita mix for the ladies! Cheers! Stay safe everybody!!!

 

I'm watching Chelsea in the FA Cup final and drinking stouts all day. I bought a Lips of Faith Cocoa Mole as my celebration/reward that night. In other words, i'm not celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

not sure what you guys are all talking about but tomorrow is all about Derby Day......so it'll be all about Knob Creek Juleps starting about 3pm, til enough

 

Why wait until tomorrow. I started the festivities tonight with Stone IRS and Espresso Yeti. On deck for the weekend is Vampire Slayer, WTF, KBS, BA Old Rasputin...and whatever I find hiding in the fridge.

 

It will just be a normal drinking Saturday for me, but with Moonlight Reality Czech, and Bombay By Boat on tap for my BBQ.

 

It is my daughter's first birthday tomorrow, so screw the Cinco de Mayo badge..., were breaking out the good stuff. Not to forget Derby Day as well.

 

Nuthin' wrong with a Bohemia, Sol, Modelo, Carta Blanca or Dos Equis, I say.

 

I'll be drinking beer. Does that count?
