Circa 2003 La Chouffe. Any experiences?

A non-beer geek friend just text me that he bought four La Chouffes for $3 total in a clearance bin somewhere, basically just asking if it were any good. I said yes and asked what the bottle date said...best before 2006. So by my guesstimate looking at some recent reviews...this would be about a 2003 (if not older) bottle. He is going to save me a couple.

Any experiences or thoughts on a nearly decade old La Chouffe? Thanks.
