maybe more tropical than citrus in the hop profile but fresh double jack (firestone walker) is one of my all time favorites.

Zombie Dust and Dreadnaught, both by 3Floyds. Great citrusy stuff. Zombie is a single hop Citra pale ale that really has the body and flavor profile of an IPA.

This thread looks suspiciously like all the other IPA threads, so I will throw a curve ball and say the beer with the most citrus flavor isn't an IPA, it's an Imperial Red. Blood of the Unicorn by Pipeworks. Super juicy citrus flavor. It surprised me.

I'd recommend Schlafly's Tasmanian IPA. It looks like they distribute to New Jersey, so hopefully not too bad a drive to find some.

The only catch is that it's a seasonal that won't be back around until October, so you'll probably have a hard time finding it, and anything you do find won't be quite as fresh.

Great way to describe it. I prefer citrus bomb ipas/double ipas. Still enjoy the pine or grassy, but citrus is just
so aromatic, could smell it for hours and not even sip.

Agreed!! Kane makes an awesome IPA! Can't wait til they bottle this stuff! I'm thinking its going to be great trade bait for NJ when they do! But until then...we here in Jersey will keep it flowing at the taps! ;-)

I think Ithaca Flower Power has a great citrus smell. I stocked up the last delivery.

Also, for a low abv option, Lagunitas Day Time IPA has a ton of citrus.

Had Palate Wrecker for the first time over the weekend and loved it. I was dreading the possibility of being overwhelmed by the hops but there was loads of grapefruit that came through as well.

I'm just kinda starting to venture into hoppy beers, transitioning from Belgian styles, porters and (imperial) stouts. This is a great post for me to follow and seek the suggestions. Thanks OP.
