If you are from NY, should be an easy find for you. Buddy got me a 4 pack for helping him shovel snow this winter. First sip of one and the only thing that came to mind is grapefruit...Never had a beer so clearly remind me of a fruit w/o actually having said fruit in the beer...My buddy (non IPA guy) took a sip and was totally turned off, but I love it.

One more local product that just came on the scene is Two Roads 'Road to Ruin'...They're out of Stratford, CT...very nice citrus nose and hop bite...they do a lot of good beers right out of the gate, but the Double IPA fits what you're looking for...

Surly Abrasive, and Hophenge are two hop bombs not to be taken lightly.

It varies a lot from batch to batch, but sometimes Blue Dot tastes like carbonated grapefruit juice-easily the most citrusy IPA I've ever had. Other batches not so much.

Also, PtE (duh!) and Green Flash's WC IPA and Palate Wrecker

Not sure if it'll ever see major distribution but Backcountry's Fix Your Heel 2.0 is about as citrus-filled of a beer as I've ever had.

There were definitely citrus elements to Hop Henge, but I don't think I'd personally describe it as a citrus bomb.

Surprised more people didn't say Sculpin'. I'm also a CitrusBombHead (doesn't have quite the same ring as the standard HopHead ), and purposefully seek out those kinds of I/IIPAs. Sculpin', last year's Hopslam (can't believe I just said that), and Abrasive are my top three. But really, I LOVE Little Sumpin' Sumpin'. I think it tastes very similar to Sucks, and it's much more available.

Both Anchorage IPAs (Galaxy and Bitter Monk) have tons of grapefruit going on. Very different types of citrus flavor from what you get in Heady or Sucks. Galaxy actually has citrus in it...

I think the citrus notes in Galaxy come from kumquats. When I had it, I got much more citrus from the nose than from the taste.

Edit: not correcting you, just sharing info
