Citrus forward IPAs

    Bro you don't even know what you are talking about. Simply Grapefruit will change your world. Gotta get it at least 1 day old fresh though. After 4 just dump it.

    Sucks is very citrus fwd to me--glad to see it back.

    DFH Hellhound--a bit $$$$ but a big DIPA with that lemon flesh note--love it.

    i second the guy mentioning schlafly tasmanian ipa...kinda like tangerine rind in a glass. i love it. im also way more fond of citrus ipa's compared to piney ones. we have some racer 5 around here...sounds like i need to check it out.

    I think the Westbrook regular IPA has an awesome citrus note and is one of my favorite in southeast. I give it a nod over Jai Alai (blasphemy, I know).

    I agree...I had a keg of Westbrook IPA and it only lasted a few weeks cuz my friends started showing up 'unexpectedly'. Solid

    Sun King Grapefruit Jungle. Wasn't as big a fan of it as some, but the name is spot-on.

    I don't find Racer 5 to be very citrusy. I'm partial to the citrusy IPAs and it's not one that I buy. It's worth trying though.

    I found the main fruity flavors to be of a pineapple quality with some grapefruit in there, possibly light passion fruit along with the great pine character. Man I love that beer, gotta do another trade soon.

    Victory Dirt Wolf and Dark Horse Artic Dekoorc Eert. Love Two Hearted but I don't find it all that citrusy, nice and balanced.

    I can't disagree that there are tropical fruits but I also get some grapefruit. Regardless, its simply a delicious beer. I still have some cans left from the case a friend muled up from Atlanta three weeks ago, even after sharing with some friends (and the proprietor of a local bottle shop). But its dated 10/28/2013 so I should probably work on it, not going to get better with age.
