    Regional threads have lots of "What should I do in X city" threads that always get immediately answered by "there were 4 identical threads last month, read those."

    Is it possible to pick some of the major cities in each region and just compile a list of places to go and things to do on a beer-centric visit? Might work better as page (like Beer101) than as a thread in order to compile the best advice and leave out repeats, but I think it'd be something really helpful to have. Anyone visiting Philly can just pull up the "BA Stuff to do in Philly" page and see notes on Monk's, Tired Hands, Philly Beer Week, etc.

    This was a topic of discussion in the Mid Atlantic sub-forum last week, and then again this morning. Since it's clear that people are not using the search functions or the city guides, either through ignorance or not. The suggestions I made:

    Perhaps each of the regional sub-forums simply have a generic Sticky message that stays as the top thread, that reads something like this:

    "Visiting this area of the Country? Before creating a new thread asking for travel tips, use the Search function to search this sub-forum. Utilize the Places database for City Guides, and complete lists of the top rated bars, breweries, and shops."
