You're not wrong is too sweet for my taste, lots of apricot and peach notes but also super malty. Maybe its too green right now.

Does CS get any distribution? Going to be in Orlando next week, any shops get cans?

It's decent...it's more their B+ level...comparable to most of the Camo series I think...

That's awesome to hear because I really liked that and will definitely have to try more of the A stuff! What would be the top three or so that are typically available? I got to try Fresh Nuggets last year and that was really good as well.

I was first in line for King Gary bottles, arriving at 745, with next person not coming until 830 or so. Remind me not to do that for Schmedium tomorrow lol

I don't understand all these breweries who pump out nothing but (overpriced) IPAs. Aren't they able to produce other styles? Then they can't even distribute their stuff. What's even worse, all those people who get so excited over standing in-line for some IPAs.

Yes they can produce other styles and do. But IPAs sell fast and are quick to make so it makes sense they produce them.

The Civil society line is the best part of their Saturday releases. The bottle shares are awesome.

I like the way they do it. A lot of the other breweries in South FL focus on distribution to retailers and we end up getting mostly flagship/core beers and then monthly releases or sometimes less depending on the company. A lot of of the flagship stuff is good, but doesn't really stand out from the loads of other beers we have access to.

    Hey mates,

Gonna be in West Palm Beach for a week starting this Saturday. Was thinking of checking out Civil Society. Are beer releases generally on Saturdays and are those pretty crazy? I don't really want to deal with lines and I don't have the need to haul beer back to Michigan. Just want to enjoy some drafts.

While I'm at it, any other places or bottle shops that should be on my shortlist? Staying down town and I would just be ubering around so probably can't make 2 hour round trips....

    Cheers!
