Yeah but make sure to get your pours, being open to everyone the place will be really busy so I hope they have a dedicated line for those that have wristband and glass. At $50 and I expect 4-6oz pours (glass is a 6oz glass) you will fill you glass and get back in line and drink it

 

I'm honestly torn on going. The beers will be amazing but I really hate just standing in lines all day.

 

Of course my brother made my nephew'a first birthday party on the same Saturday afternoon. I could get there by 2/230 but not sure the price of admission would be worth it at that time.

Anyone else getting shut out trying to snag tickets? Website seems to have crashed already - an all too familiar feature for beer event tickets...

 

Trying to run this through their website was a poor choice, I wonder how many tickets they are selling.

 

Brown Paper Tickets has the bandwidth capacity to do all of these types of events. Don't know why places don't use them more (I guess BPT takes a cut of each ticket or charges a service fee)

Yeah servers were crashed they will do it again tomorrow at 10am but will confirm later tonight via social media

Looks like tomorrow won't be ticket sales, but an announcement of a new ticket sale date.

 

Do you think the Friday will be normal? As in I'd like to get some Crowlers on Friday before the party on Saturday.

 

they are having a Halloween party FRIDAY and releasing a new Gary variant so might be busier than normal

 

Looks like it's gonna be 1400 tickets total, seems like a lot for an area that size unless they're shutting down that whole street. I'll be there today when they open to grab crowlers for the FSU game, I'll try to get more info.

 

The fact that their calling this a "block party" speaks to the fact that they are indeed shutting down the whole street.....or at least one block of it.

They said the block will be open to the public also, but only those who have tickets will get a wristband and glass to get pours from.
