Looks like they got some maple and coffee in, looking forward to whatever they do with that!

They have this listed as a beer they are taking to the Extreme Beerfest 1st week of February...

If 7th Wonder is sure to be a huge hit if they were able to keep it just like Subject 7, I hope cans last until the weekend

Wish they would go back to weekend releases but this must be a lot easier for them.

Had a sample on draft yesterday and it was on point. Hopefully the cans are drinking the same.

Just had a couple cans of Seventh Wonders. Not quite was batch 1 was but its still better than any other FL DIPA by far IMO.

Got back up to CS this past Saturday. Loved everything, as always. Thought DDH Emerald Showers left something to be desired and took away from how good the original is. The collab with Craft Commander was very tasty (Average Height), as was the collab with Aslin (Ballina). Grandma's Lemonade was a nice change of pace for the hop bombs that Civil usually puts out. It was very good. Ended up leaving with 4pks of Extra Pulp (which is tasting fantastic), Fresh, and Seventh Wonder and a Crowler of Emerald Showers. Always a great experience over there and glad I get to take some trips up there every so often.

Good to see that cans are lasting into the weekend. I have wanted to make the trip up the last two times for releases but I have been buying less and J Wakefield puts out some real solid NE style IPAs recently and it's much less of a drive.

Heading down from the great white north....Any idea what I can expect to grab this Friday afternoon? Cans, crowlers?

I don't know how many, if any, cans will still be available - you can call the brewery and ask. Last weekend, they were filling crowlers of Fresh, Blondes with Mosaic, Grandma's Lemonade, Emerald Showers, Average Height, Pulp, Gary Meets Basic Boo (Pumpkin Spiced Milk Stout), Jupiter Rising (Brown Ale). I'd expect you can probably get all or most of those on your way down. I recommend Emerald, Pulp, Fresh, Average Height as my Top 4 in that order - Grandma's Lemonade was great too.

I'm right there with you as I live only 5 minutes from JWB, but I still think that CS IPAs are worth the drive. They have elevated themselves into the upper, upper echelon of IPAs in the country IMO. Any time I head up to the Delray area to see the family, I make the extra 35 minute drive up to Civil and am never disappointed. I'd drive up there solely for Emerald Showers, it's that good.

Given CS's location in south Florida and the history behind the name, I would've liked to see Flan as a porter or brown ale with lactose, vanilla and cinnamon. CS's take on the Cuban dessert. Not a DIPA. Maybe there's a story behind the name of this beer?
