Clarification - double daisy cutter available at half acre

    Earlier post wasn't clear, just rode over (it's since closed) and they got double daisy cutter in 4-packs for like 15 bucks.

    Picked some up this afternoon -- 2 four packs/person limit, no growler fills

    a very nice surprise, one of my favorite DIPAs

    Yeah. I lasted 1 day in the "I am not going to to spend money on beer for the rest of the month b/c of BCS" promise. But it is so good....

    Was this tweeted? This is the first I hear of it. I don't know when I'll make it since they close tomorrow nd I'm in river forest Tuesday. Was there plenty?

    No, and tons. When I asked about the secret release, the guy said they did it so guys like us can get our beer without worrying it will sell out immediately. The fridge was full and only about 3 people in the shop about 4:45. Got my 2 four packs and a Shogun. $40 trip...

    Just guesses at this point. They are closed tomorrow, so that might help. But since no growler fills, maybe more people picking up cans?

    Edit: Also depends when they make the official announcement. The longer they wait, the better your odds.

    Never been to Half Acre (though ive had Daisy Cutter...yum) but i figure this might be the best time to go lol

    Afterspecter I've spent some serious cash on beer in the past month, I tell my wife saturday I'm gonna sit back and enjoy what we got. At three o'clock I'm on my bike and she asks where I'm goin, I replay half acre for DDC. She responds, well you budgeting of beer almost lasted 24 hours.

    My girlfriend doesn't ask questions. As long as I don't ask questions when she goes to the yarn store. Of course I spend a HELL of a lot more on beer than she does yarn but if it works for her then I'm okay with it.
