We will be hitting up Cleveland this Saturday and I was hoping for some input beyond what I already know. Going to hit Fat Head's North Olmsted for sure because the food and beer is tops for me. The other consideration was then going to Ohio City and having the flexibility to bounce around easily to Market Garden, Nano, Platform, Great Lakes, etc. if we wanted. What I'm wondering is if there are any newer breweries or ones I didn't mention that we should look to add to the agenda. Brew Kettle is already a thought, but we may just stay closer to the city. Any tips are appreciated!

I think Hansa (right by Great Lake's and such) is a spot if you like German beers. They have a smokey sour (winzig) that I just love. Cool spot too, I think it’s at least worth checking out.

Masthead near CSU and Hofbrahaus is also worth going. Their beer quality is pretty impressive for as new as they are.

Brick and Barrel is pretty under the radar. Very close to Market Garden/Nano/Platform/Great Lakes. Small spot, but a big sleeper, IMO.

Honestly, I'd check out Tremont Taphouse over those places in Ohio City, which it's still close to. Platform is a cool place but I tend to drink guest beers when I go there. Let me know if you want to meet up for a beer.

Sibling Revelry is on my list, I've not been there, but it's 12 min drive from the fat heads north olmsted, maybe these other guys can tell you if it's worth a stop.

I liked the Sibling taproom, quiet and chill... Beers were decent but nothing all that worthwhile when we were there. But I'd go back for sure.

I like brick and barrel down in the flats as well.

Isn't that the place that's right by Market Garden and Nano? If so, I've been there and it's worth a stop as well since they are all right there.

I think your thinking of Townhall which should be on your list. Take some crowlers to go.

Sib Rev, Masthead, and Market Garden are about as average as it gets IMO. Platform occasionally does some incredible stuff and their guest list is usually fantastic. Brick and Barrel is definitely underrated but the environment is INSANELY grungy. Best wee heavy in town though, and the IPA is very good as well. Brew Kettle is worth the drive just for the food alone. Plus they might have some good stuff left over from Ogrefest still.

That's the one! Will likely stop in there if we are hitting up those other ones.

Totally did NOT mean to ignore that part, dude! Given that we probably want to hit up places that are closer together to be able to go to more spots, I'm thinking Ohio City seems pretty certain at this point. Not sure how long we will be there, but if you're out and about, let me know!

Yeah Townhall has a great draft list and crowlers to go. Tremont Tap House has great food and maybe an even better tap list.

The only reason Brew Kettle might not make the cut is due to time. We are going up early, but certain spots are musts for me. Like Fat Head's because I could seriously eat that Chicken Little Headwich every meal of every day. And, I think their beer is hands down the best. From there, we were hoping to get closer to the city. Brew Kettle would be going back the other way a tad, but it's not full out of consideration.

I actually do like Market Garden, for what it's worth. They aren't special, but I've never had a bad time there. That said, I wouldn't cry over skipping them. I am more interested in Sibling Revelry and Masthead since they are newer spots that I haven't been able to check out yet. Maybe their newness is the contributing factor to mediocrity?

I was at Sibling Revelry last week and thought the beer was good. But that is out in the boonies, bro.

Parma Heights aka the south boonies.

And really, Sib is only 10 minutes from FH's North Olmsted.

Not sure how far south you are looking to go; but R Shea just north of Akron is awesome. Hit them up a few weeks ago, variety is awesome. Also just added food about a month ago.
Brew Kettle Amherst has the Ogrefest this weekend. Heavy hitter tap list.

    Enjoy.

Fathead's wings are great, Brew Kettle's wings are better.
