Where is the best selection in town? I've done the Detroit Rd. corridor from Lakewood to the west suburbs, Mack's and Circle A. Checked a few Heinen's and Whole Foods. Ive found a few stragglers, but that's about it. Who's got these on shelves: Boon Oud Beersel 3F Girardin Lindemans (non sweetened) Timmermans De Cam Hanssens
Does Rozi's? Might start there. Lizardville used to be a great resource, but not really any longer. Maybe they do still have some though.
I'll ask around, but hopefully someone else here can help more. I tend to order mine online anymore, 3F via Etre Gourmet. Once it gets to Etre, you can add to your box quite substantially. Sometimes it takes a while, usually US customs or hub is the main culprit, but is worth it to me, getting most of it at original retail cost. Of course shipping ain't cheap.
Sammy's Streetsboro is all I got closer to Cleveland. Further afield, Fishers or Butts and Brews in Canton might have some selection, but can't really confirm.
Thanks for you help. I'm a westsider so it seems like I'll putting some miles on my car either way. Maybe a trip to Vintage Estates in Y-Town is in order. They have a pretty fantastic selection.
Have just had a friend suggest some beer graveyards such as Convenient Food Mart Cleveland, Eric's Grocery Bag Canton, and (probably not) Corkscrew Johnny's Richfield.
