I'm heading to Fathead's and Great Lakes for 1 possibly 2 night trip......wanted to know other brewery's and heady spots to score brews I can't get in PA......Cheers
Where are you staying and how far are you willing to drive? You're about to get suggestions from Mentor, to Middleburg, to Wooster.
Don't forget "that guy" who will recommend Rheingeist in Cincinnati and/or Jackie O's in Athens because they're just a few hours from Cleveland.
Plans are to stay near airport lakewood or Middleburg heights area.....and any dog friendly spots are appreciated too, as fido will be coming too! LA Quinta is usually cheap and no fee so usually our go to
Tremont Tap House is dog friendly. If you're by the airport the Fatheads Taproom and Brew Kettle are the closest spots.
Is it all the time? Last time I took my dog there they gave me some bs about only letting them on the patio Tuesdays for Happy Hour.
Hmmm, I havent taken mine up there on a non-Tuesday in awhile so maybe I'm off. Sorry on the misinfo!
TT is only dog friendly for 'yappy hour' on tuesdays. Fatheads, GLBC, Town Hall, Nano, and Platform all have dog friendly patios. Town Hall even has a dog food menu. Platform might let your pup inside if weather goes south (MIGHT).
Forgot about Platform. Also, Edison's Pub will let your pooch inside, and the beer list is usually good.
Hit platform, mgb, and nano with the pooch and was all fun! Hit royal park for first c note spent on haul and looking forward to fatheads and brew kettle this afternoon.......dinner at butcher and brewer? Or maybe something down by stadiums......need to hit that up at some point!
IPA should be easy to find, check Heinen's off E 9th. Not sure where Bodhi is presently. Wink's is a good bar located in the Galleria(downtown) good tap list and food.
I totally forgot about it until they changed the location of the Shot in the Dark race to the Galleria. I wondered why, and then when we got there I remember that it had changed. I forget when that happened.
Besides all the beer you'll be quaffing, you gotta go to Steve's Gyros at the Westside Market. THE Biggest and best in the world!!!
