Thinking about a weekend beer getaway in Cleveland. Where would be the most logical area to stay in order to hit the most destinations while utilizing public transportation? Would prefer to be able to hit brewpubs rather than beer bars but either will work.

Hotel wise? Maybe the Marriott by the airport off w. 150th. Centrally located. Fatheads, Brew Kettle, Great Lakes, Platform are all easily accessible from there. With secondary locations like, Brick and Barrel, Butcher and the Brewer, Portside, Market Garden and Nano. ALL of those are about an equal(ish) distance from that location. 10-20 minutes.

Thanks William. Great info. Is public transportation(cab, uber, bus, rickshaw) plentiful throughout the area?

We have buses but that would probably be a hassle. Uber to Fatheads Taphouse and Brew Kettle. Those are 2 great stops.

Nano and Market Garden can be fun spots, but their beer is just Ok. Great Lakes is a fun stop. Go down in the basement if it's open.

Tremont Taphouse is a worthy beer bar. Lakewood Lizardville as well. Have fun.

I'd cab or uber everywhere from that location. If you decided you wanted to do Nano, Market Garden, and Great Lakes you could take the transit. I'd have the hotel shuttle drop me off at the station. Breweries are across the street from the W. 25th St. station. Everywhere else definitely needs a cab or uber.

If you can find a rickshaw I would take that!:grinning: In all seriousness, as Mike said, Uber to Fat Heads(both locations) & TBK. As Fiver said, take the shuttle to the RTA and take it to W 25th. From there you can Uber(cheaply) to Platform, Butcher or Brick and Barrel. Very very easy to get around. Plus, it's much cheaper than a DWI. Also, as Mike said, Taphouse. I highly recommend Tremont Taphouse.
