Any beer bars I should be checking out? Where would the best place to find limited package stuff? I am staying at Residence Inn off prospect. But have access to transportation. Any tips will be appreciated.
Winking Lizard is worth a shot if you've never been to one of those before. Just don't try to bring any homeless people in with you for dinner. They apparently don't like that, and will kick them out.
It was been a while since I moved away, but here are a few places within stumbling distance of your hotel: The Winking Lizard - Pub grub but a good beer list The Greenhouse Tavern - Amazing Food, Some good local beers, expensive The Wonder Bar looks like it has a good list of beers (I have never been) Lola - Alaso amazing food, but I don't remember the beer list, we drank barrel aged Manhattens all night.
That's what you get for taking Jpark with you. Ohio City and Tremont are the closest neighborhoods to you. In Ohio City there are a couple places on W. 25th, namely Great Lakes Brewery. Also worth checking out is Townhall which has a pretty wide selection. Tremont is a little tougher to get to from where you are at but is still close. Tremont Tap House would be the best stop in that neighborhood. About 20 mins from your spot is Lakewood which has a couple great beer bars Deagan's and Buckeye Beer Engine to start with. Rozi's Wine House is a great bottle shop that you can drink on premises.
Will there be headhunter on tap somewhere? Any other locals I shouldn't miss? I have been to Great Lakes before, i might make it by there again. We will be in treemont tonight, eating at ginkos. Anything near there?
Head Hunter is pretty widely available, just keep your eyes peeled. Similar to HH is White Rajah which is awesome. Some of the Hoppin' Frog options are super tasty too.
We have Head Hunter on at Tremont Taphouse (along with 47 other rotating drafts) BTW Ginko is awesome and Edison's right down the street has a pretty good selection.
